FAQ
“
I need 40 flat shots done this week, with the pictures delivered by the end of the week.
Our samples can only be out for a day and the press is clamoring for these pictures!
Can you do that?
“
I only have 5 pieces to shoot.
I need them done now and am on a really tight budget.
Can you work with me on that?
“
We need to photograph 50 +/- pairs of shoes every month, four angles of each.
We need to make it look like they were all shot the same day.
Is that something you can do?
We get asked questions like this every day and the answer is invariably “yes”!
That’s how we’ve been meeting the product photography needs of the fashion industry for over 20 years.
From scheduling to final picture delivery, we make the whole process easy and cost effective.
Whether you’re a perfectionist or budget driven, you have a small run of samples or a large, ongoing program, ecommerce, lookbook or internal purpose needs, we make it happen.
And we make it happen on schedule.
What is included in your rate?
Our rate includes: the studio, the equipment, the photographer, basic retouching (cleaning up the background, removing props and cropping/sizing), 2 sizes of JPEG images, full usage rights and a four business day turnaround.
Does that include a model and stylist?
A model, stylist, hair/makeup artist and skin retouching, color changes and/or product modifications are not included but can easily be added to any shoot.
Do you do per shot quotes?
Yes, if you are sending your products to our studios and we’re doing the shoot on our own. We can provide specific per shot quotes customized for your product type, photography type desired, number of views, volume and other details.
Are you able to do lifestyle/lookbook shots?
Yes, we can! We have a group of creative professionals we can call on to staff any project. Whether it’s on-figure or still life, we can execute your vision for your brand.
Can you help me find models?
We work with a number of agencies and can direct you to finding the right talent to represent your brand. We can also help with arranging castings, if needed.
Do i need ghost, pin up or flat lay shots?
All 3 are types of apparel still life shots. In ghost shots, the garment is “full”, showing what it looks like worn realistically. In pin up shots, the garment is flat, with a drape-y look. It’s more stylized than a ghost shot. Flat lays are the most stylized of the still life apparel photography types, with the garment showing “movement” and rippling, resulting in an organic shape and look. Some product types show themselves better in one of these photography styles than the others, but at the end of the day, it’s your call as to which look best represents your brand.
